Monthly Solar Access
The height of the bars and the numbers at the top of each bar indicate the percentage of solar
energy available each month for the site-specific shade conditions. If there were no shade
obstructions, the bars would all indicate 100%. If the location was shaded all year round the bars
would all indicate 0%.
N O T E
If Windowed Access is selected in the Annual Sunpaths view, then Monthly Solar Access will be
windowed with the same month and time window specified in the Annual Sunpath Configuration
menu.
Obstruction Elevation View
Select
> View > Obstruction Elevation
. You will see the graph showing elevation angle
of the highest obstruction at each azimuth. The Obstruction Elevation view can be configured
for a range of azimuth values to display the elevation data trace every one degree, bars showing
maximum (or average) data within specified azimuth windows, and sunpaths.

N O T E
Some information from the SunEye may be lost in Obstruction Elevation view.The elevation data
shows the highest obstruction elevation data. Open sky that is below an obstruction will not be
visible in the Horizon view. This is common when there are overhanging obstructions, such as a
tree branch or light post.
To configure the display for Horizon view, select
> View > Configure current view... .
The Obstruction Elevation Properties dialog is displayed.
