Communication Modes
5.1
TCP Server
In this mode, CSW-H85K2 listens to a TCP connection request from remote hosts. Once a
host tries connecting to CSW-H85K2, it accepts a connection. After the connection is
established, CSW-H85K2 converts the raw data from the serial port to TCP/IP data and
sends it to the network and vice versa.

This is a server

s port number which is used in the TCP connection.

Event Byte
With setting event bytes, you can handle the serial data of the serial buffer before a
TCP connection is established.

CSW-H85K2 sends the data right after a connection is

512 or under bytes are strongly recommended.

Timeout
If there is no transmission data for amount of the time the connection would be
terminated.

Notify IP Change
This function is for notifying information about changed IP addresses to a
management server. Not only can the TCP/UDP protocol be used, but Dynamic
Domain Name Service (DDNS).

Access restriction
You can block TCP connections from unauthorized hosts by using this option. Both IP
and MAC address are available.
