Installation of the AC Sensor

The AC-sensor detects smallest current movements from
the house into the utility grid or vice versa and regulates
the MyReserve accordingly. Viewed from the grid, the AC
Sensor is installed downstream from the house fuse and
the utility Energy meter.

NOTE

The SOLARWATT AC Sensor is available in model
versions 50 and 63.

Installation of the AC Sensor 50

Install the AC Sensor in the building's distribution cabi-
net. Connect the AC Sensor in a de-energized state. The
AC connection is equipped with conventional screw ter-
minals. use appropriate bootlace ferules for neat termina-
tion of conductors in terminals. The connection terminals
for the CAN communication are designed as spring termi-
nals.
All external conductors (L1, L2, L3) from the utility energy
meter to the building distribution must be disconnected
in order for the AC Sensor to be installed. The neutral con-
ductor (N) is only executed as a single feeder for the pow-
er supply of the AC Sensor. It is not necessary to connect
the AC Sensor to the protective earth conductor (PE). Re-
fer to the connection diagram for the AC Sensor.
