Connecting the cables and lines

IMPORTANT

Commissioning of the MyReserve may only be car-

ried out by a qualifi ed electrician! There is a risk
of electric shock! When light is collected via the

PV array, the PV system delivers DC voltage to the
MyReserve and the power converter. Ensure that

you have disconnected the PV system!

5.5.1.

MyReserve 500

Connect the DC connection cables of the PV system, the
PV inverter, the voltage supply and the communication
cable to the MyReserve (see chapter 3.7 and 3.8 Layout
of the ACS) of the ACS. Use the appropriate wire end slee-
ves for this purpose. Observe the polarity of the DC cable.
Only clamp cables to free and marked terminal connec-

tions (see fi gure).

Secure the supply line for the voltage supply of the My-
Reserve separately with a maximum amperage of 6 A. All
protective conductors connected must have a minimum
cross-section of 1.5 mm².

Then fi t the cover back on the terminal strip. In doing so,

make sure that the ground cable for the battery module
remains accessible behind the cover.

Possible PV inverter model connection cross-section: 4 - 6 mm²
Poss. AC connection cross-section: 1.5 – 2.5 mm²
Poss. com. connection cross-section ACS: 0.5 – 1.5 mm²
