In the Input Dry Contacts screen, locate the
Generator
dry contact now that you have
enabled it, and select normally open or normally closed depending on your ATS or
Generator’s auxiliary output.

Generator mode setting is setup now.
To perform the ATS test:
1.
Switch on the generator or secondary power source.
2.
Verify that the ATS is set to 10 seconds transfer delay and it is fully operational.
3.
Disconnect the primary input feed.
4.
Verify that the ATS transfer time was greater than 10 seconds.
5.
Verify stability of UPS output.
6.
Verify limited charging current to the battery (<2A).

Test: ECO Mode
For customers looking to maximize efficiency the UPS can be configured to support ECO mode.
This keeps the UPS on standby and only transfers to inverter when there is an issue with the grid
power. Anomalies in the grid voltage or frequency will cause the transfer to inverter, however this
also means that the load is directly affected by grid fluctuations.
