UPS for 208 Vac Grid, B120US Installation Guide, doc. rel. 3.0
to the output capacity of the UPS. Figure 12 assumes that the battery fuses can be
easily disconnected, when used in series with a battery circuit breaker, as desired.
4.
Measure the dc voltage at the main terminals of the battery cabinets. Verify that you
obtain values of at least 192 Vdc for each battery cabinet, or at least 384 Vdc across the
main battery CB. The battery set must have a positive (+192Vdc), midpoint and
negative (-192Vdc) pole.
5.
Connect the battery set to UPS’s positive (“+”) battery bus bar, negative (“–“) battery
bus bar, and Neutral bus bar. Refer to Figure 12.
6.
If you are using lithium-ion batteries, contact Gamatronic support for configuration
instructions.

7.
The fuses between the battery cabinets and The UPS (F1, F2, F3, and F4 in Figure 12)
must be
FAST FUSES (SEMICONDUCTOR FUSES)
; for example, the Ferraz Shawmut
A70QS fuse.
8.
For initial startup to take place the battery must be connected to the UPS and available.
