VBI Tab (Video Object)

This tab is only available in tiles that are of Video type.

If VBI data is present on a video input and the video is an SDI source then the data can be
displayed on the relevant video tile.

If multiple sources of timecode are present in a video source then the timecode selected for
display, in order of priority is; Ancillary VITC, Ancillary LTC and D-VITC.

CC Indicator

Enables an indicator to be shown in the tile if the selected Closed
Caption type is present.

CC Visible

Displays the Closed Caption text in the tile if ticked.

CC Channel

Selects the channel of the Closed Caption to encode.

XDS Visible

Shows the information contained in the Extended Data Services.

TT Indicator

Enables the indicator to be shown if Teletext is present in the video.

TT Visible

Displays the Teletext from the selected page in the tile if ticked.

TT Page

Selects which Teletext page is to be viewed.

VITC Visible

Enables the display of the Vertical Interval Timecode.

Note:

D-VITC is only available on SD sources as there is currently no standard for HD
sources. Ancillary Timecode is available on both SD and HD sources.

The Timecode is displayed in a fixed position near the bottom center of the tile
within the video.

The display will start to be cropped when the tile is 150 pixels or less wide.

WST Teletext can only be decoded from Composite inputs.

Closed Caption pages of Teletext using the OP-47 standard can be displayed on
SDI inputs.
