37) Connect the Link Net (item 35) temporarily to the Rope Net Mounting Brackets (item 14) using 8 off Coupling

Links (item 47).

38) Mark out the ground fixing position for the Ground Fixing Chain Assembly (item 37) in 4 positions in the base

of the appropriate foundation holes for the Link Net. See FIG.50, 51 & 52.

39) Remove the Link Net and suspend the Ground Fixing Chain Assembles (item 37) vertically above the

previously marked positions, ensuring that at least 13 chain links are encased in the concrete to provide a
secure fixing, with the Hex. bolt at the bottom of the hole. See FIG.52.

NOTE: Check that the completed structure has been positioned in the correct place, that it is plumb and

square and all the fasteners are fully tightened to the correct torque settings. Also ensure that the
structure is propped safely so that it may be left for the concrete foundations to cure.

40) Fill the holes with concrete to the required level, taking into account any Impact Absorbing Surfacing

requirements. Ensure that a full volume of concrete is used. The top of the concrete should gradually (1:100)
slope down & outwards locally from the equipment upstand to the required level to form a watershed.

41) Keep installation off limits to the public until the concrete has completely cured. (Recommended initial curing

time is 48 hours).
