Operating Instructions
Switching the PC094 from Travel Mode to PC Mode
When you are ready to use the PC094 for lifting
and traveling, you will need to re - configure it
from Travel Mode to PC Mode. In Travel Mode,
the PC094 ’ s boom, hook block, and stabilizers are
in their stored positions. In PC Mode, the
PC094 ’ s boom and Hook Block are in their
working positions. For PC Mode, the position of
the stabilizers affect how much the PC094 can
safely lift.
To switch the PC094 from Travel to PC Mode:
1. Make sure the immediate area is clear of
obstacles and hazards and ensure the PC094
is running.
2. Rotate and lock the Tiller Handle to Crane
Mode.
3. SLOWLY command a WINCH DOWN just
enough to relieve pressure on the Hook
Storage Shackle.
4. Un - hook the Hook Block off of the Hook
Storage Shackle and allow it to hang freely off
of the end of the boom tip.

If the Hook Block sits on the ground after being un - stored DO NOT command
a WINCH UP.
5. Command a BOOM UP to raise the boom to at least Boom Angle 0
°
.
6. Confirm that the hook block is OFF the ground.
7. Extend the stabilizers, as required.
The crane controls and the travel controls can be operated whether the Tiller Handle is in the
travel setting or Crane Mode.
