1. Free-wheeling Valve - The free-wheeling valve
is located at the front and/or rear of the MEWP
(depending on the model). Refer to
Section 2.5-1
for procedure on how to release the free-wheeling
valve.
2.2-8 Emergency Lowering System
This emergency lowering system allows platform
lowering in the event of an emergency or an electrical
system failure. Refer to
Section 2.6 for the emergency
lowering procedure. The system contains the following
controls:

on the holding valve at the bottom of each lift
