After installing and starting the SK720 setup software on your computer, plug
your SK720 into any available USB port using the supplied USB cable. The setup
software will automatically detect the gyro. The

Connected

indicator in the setup

software should turn green, and the gyro’s serial number and firmware revision
should also be displayed. (See Figure 10.4, below.)

If the software will not run on your computer, make sure that you have the latest
version of “Windows .NET Runtime” installed. Check the

Microsoft website

for

the most recent edition.
