Instructions for use and maintenance of protection
The protection serves to prevent damage or contamination of the
luggage compartment carpet. Mechanical wear of the protection in
Caution: Secure the transported objects against shifting in a
suitable manner. Loose objects may damage the protection.
Therefore, place objects as close as possible to the rear seat
backrests.
Always follow the instructions for safe luggage transport, see the
vehicle operating instructions.
The protection velcro‘s may cause damage to the fabric of the net
system; therefore, keep the nets away from the velcro‘s or else
use other, more durable means (straps, ropes, etc.). When using
the protection, access under the luggage compartment floor is
complicated; it is always necessary to remove the transported
objects and release the protection from the anchor points.
Do not put objects with sharp edges into the protection area,
do not expose it to chemicals and long-term effects of sunlight
(especially during long-term storage).
Clean the protection according to the degree of contamination
with water or commercial cleaning agents.

Slightly extend the head restraints of the rear seats, pull the rubber
straps (A6) of the front cover (A2) over them and then adjust the
head restraints to the required position (Fig. 6).

Attach the upper fastening cords (A4a, b) to suitable anchor points,
e.g. to the hooks for attaching the net system (Fig. 7). Any loop
created along the length of the cord can be used for attachment as
needed. Choose the tension of the cables according to the nature of
the transported objects. If necessary, it is possible to connect velcro‘s
in the rear part of the protection (A8b) at the loading edge of the
vehicle luggage compartment. By releasing the velcro‘s (A11) on the
front cover (A2), the front cover part, adjacent to the rear of the seat
backs, can be split as required to use the protection with any seat
folding configuration (see variants in Fig. 11).

Depending on the height of the luggage compartment floor
and the type and the vehicle type, the length of the front cover
(A2) can be adjusted by connecting one of the horizontal velcro
fasteners (A7) and the velcro fastener (A12) (Fig. 8), or they can be
completely detached including joints (A8a).

Level the protection on the floor and attach it to the floor with the
rear lower velcro‘s (A9) (Fig. 9).

Open the velcro (A10) and unwrap the cover (A3) over the rear
bumper.

Roll up the cover (step 1) in the direction indicated in (Fig. 10) and place
it rolled up (step 2) to the loading edge of the luggage compartment
and secure with velcro‘s (A10) and (A13).
