ASSEMBLY
UNPACKING AND CHECKING CONTENTS
WARNING If any parts are missing,
do not plug in the power
cord or turn the switch on until the missing
parts are obtained and are installed correctly.
CAUTION Before moving the saw:
Lock the miter-lock knob
into the 50° left or 60° right position. Lock the
bevel-lock handle. Lock the head assembly in
the down position.
Never carry the tool by the cord or the head-
assembly power switch handle. Damage
to insulation could cause an electric shock.
Damage to wire connections could cause a
fire.
Model SPT88 Compound Slide Miter Saw is
shipped complete, in one box.
1. Separate all parts from Loose Parts list
below to make sure that all items are
accounted for before discarding any
packing material.

Vertical Clamp - Provides fast clamping
of workpiece.
