10. Decommissioning and disposal
10.1 Temporary decommissioning
The product is temporarily decommissioned
according to the requirements of the overall
system by disconnecting the electrical
supply connections. When doing so, follow
the instructions in the "Installation" chapter.
For a prolonged decommissioning of the
product, follow the instructions in the
"Delivery, returns and storage" chapter.
10.2 Recommissioning
After temporary decommissioning:
• Carry out a visual inspection of the
lubrication device (see chapter “Check for
damage” on page 39).
• Switch on device (see chapter “Switching
on / switching off” on page 36).
After a long period out of service:
• Empty the feed pipes.

Old lubricant removed.
• Clean device (see Chapter “Cleaning” on
page 38).
• Carry out first-time commissioning (see
chapter “First-time commissioning” on
page 35).
10.3 Decommissioning and disposal
For final decommissioning, follow the
relevant regulations and laws governing the
disposal.
The product can be returned to the
manufacturer for disposal against
reimbursement of incurred costs.
The components can be recycled.
