7. Commissioning
7.3 Checks before first-time
commissioning
• To ensure safety and functioning, the
following checks are to be carried out
before first-time commissioning:
o The whole system is consistent with the
intended purpose / planning documents.
o Parameters, characteristics and resources
are available and correctly configured.
o Electrical connection is correct. All parts
such as pipes, cables, etc. are properly
installed and undamaged.
o Lubricating device positioned correctly in
front of the lubrication point.
o No loose or missing parts.
o No damage, deformations or tears.
o No contamination or corrosion.
o No lubricant leakage on connections and
pipes.
• Immediately report any detected faults
and discrepancies to the supervisor and
have them removed by a specialist only.
7.4 First-time commissioning
The lubricating device is commissioned
under the following conditions:
√ Installation was successful.
√ Power, control pipes and flow pipes
are connected and tested by qualified
personnel according to the commissioning
requirements of the device.
