BASS BOATS
Battery Panel (Cont.)
6. Oxy Max Switch (Optional): The OXYMAX switch controls the power ON/OFF the Oxy Max
system. When operating in either salt or brackish water, keep the switch in the OFF position. If left
on when operating in salt or brackish water, the Oxy Max system will create chlorine, which will
poison any fish in the livewell.
7. Oxy Max / Auto Bilge Circuit Breaker: This is a push-to-reset circuit breaker. If the breaker trips
again, determine the cause and correct the problem.
8. Fuse Holders: The back of the battery panel is equipped with two empty fuel holders to wire into
aftermarket accessories such as a shallow water anchoring device or a hydraulic jack plate. There
is not a fuse in this holder; install the fuse that the accessory requires.
Keypad Backlight
The keypad panel is equipped with a backlight. The backlight will turn on and stay on when the power
button is on. The backlight will turn on for 15 seconds when the power button is off and a keypad
button is pressed.
Circuit Protection
The keypad control system is equipped with internal circuit protection. If a circuit draws more than the
rated current, the circuit will be turned off and the indicator LED will flash to indicate the circuit was
tripped. Before resetting the circuit, determine the cause of the overload and have it fixed. To reset
the circuit, push and hold the tripped circuit button in for approximately 5-6 seconds.
Foot Throttle (Option)
An optional foot throttle is available to improve throttle control. The foot throttle allows the boat
operator to operate the throttle with both hands on the steering wheel. The foot throttle is equipped
with a toe clip for additional safety in extreme operating conditions.
Pro Trim (Option)
The pro trim lever allows the boat operator to trim the outboard with both hands on the steering
wheel.
NOTE: When the foot throttle and pro trim options are installed, the remote control will only
function as a shifter.
CAUTION
DO NOT shift the engine into gear if it is operating above 900 RPM. Only shift the engine
into gear at the recommended idle speed.
