ISSUE
1.
During pathological processing of the excised tissue is it not required to search for
and remove Seed from the specimen.
1a.
If the Seed is, however, encountered during pathological processing, it may be
removed from the specimen and
discarded per your facility’s biohazardous
waste procedures.
1b.
If the Seed is not encountered during pathological processing, it can be safely
stored within the specimen.
Note.
It is
not
mandatory to search for and remove the Pintuition Seed from the
specimen during pathological processing.

ISCONNECTING THE
P
ROBE
The Probe connector
(16)
is outfitted with a locking
mechanism to prevent accidental disconnection of the
Probe during routine use.
To disconnect:
1.
Grasp the connector
(16)
between thumb and index
finger.
2.
Gently pull the connector towards you in the
direction of the white arrow on the connector
(16)
