1 Introduction
General information
The WI80 Instrument presents you with relevant wind
information on a combined analog and digital display.
Adjustable backlight for night operation is provided
as well as adjustable intensity on the LED displays for
operation in sunshine.
Instrument layout
The WI80 display includes bargraph, dial with pointer
and LED display. Modes of operation and units for
measure are indicated by monitor diodes.
The instrument is
operated by 2 keys.
These are used to switch
between display modes,
to set parameter values
and to adjust background
illumination.
The dial is divided into 360°. Hence, when the wind is
coming from port in true and relative modes, the image
of the starboard dial should apply.

