2 .3 D e t e r m in e syst e m con figu r a t ion
I t is im port ant t o becom e fam iliar wit h t he configurat ion
of t he syst em prior t o beginning t he inst allat ion. An
aut opilot basic single st at ion syst em wit h opt ional st at ion
is show n in Figure 2- 1
Plan your cabling and configure t he Sim Net net work in
accordance w it h chapt er 2.9 on page 15.
As m ost of t he unit s are com m unicat ing on a com m on
net work ( Sim Net ) wit h ident ical connect ors, t he
inst allat ion is sim ple. Try t o m ount t he unit s wit hin t he
st andard cable lengt h supplied wit h each unit . Sim Net
cables are available from your dist ribut or ( see page 20)
for connect ion t o ot her Sim Net devices and cable
ext ension.
