1. Introduction
The VolumION is an industrial ionisation blower used to neutralise electrostatically charged
products and/or surfaces to a distance of 1.5 m.
The VolumION comprises a double fan and an air duct with anti-static bars fitted on the fan
outflow opening. There are two air controllers in front of the blower air inlets.

2. Description and operation
Connected to a Simco-Ion power unit, the anti-static bars together with the blower produce an
air flow which is rich in positive and negative ions. When this air flow is pointed at an
electrostatically charged product/surface, ions will be exchanged. This electrostatically
neutralises the product/material. The strength of the air flow can be controlled with the air
controllers. The blower air controllers can optionally be replaced by air filters.
