6.1 Battery type, function and service life
• SIKO battery order number: art. no. "85638" Battery type: CR2477N;
3 V lithium; 950 mAh.
The battery enables the detection and storing of currentless adjustments
of the driving shaft. The average battery service life is approximate 5 years
depending on the ambient conditions and duration of actuator supply
voltage application. The battery can be changed at SIKO distribution part-
ners, in the SIKO parent factory or by yourself.
6.2 Changing the battery

Preparation:
1. Connect actuator to supply voltage.
2. Place the replacement battery ready (see chapter
6.1 ).
3. Place a Phillips screwdriver ready (e. g. PH 0x60).
Deinstallation ( Fig. 11 ):
1. The battery compartment is situated behind the cover of the housing's
cover

2. Unscrew the screws

until you hear a click.
3. Do not pull out the screws.
4. Remove the housing's cover

inclusive the plugged screws.
5. Caution! O-ring

may fall out.
6. Optionally bend outward one of the battery lugs

using your fingers.
7. Grasp the used battery

at the upper edge and pull out axially (for
the disposal of the old battery refer to chapter
7
).
