The display unit and the sensors (for the pulse pick, if appli-
cable for temperature measurement) can be exchanged un-
der operating conditions.

Electrical connection
CAUTION! Electric current!
The electrical connection of the VO should only be carried out by a fully qualified electrician.
De-energize the electrical system before connecting the VO.
5.2.1
Sensor
For connection to evaluation electronics or a PLC or of the user sensor must be powered with
10-30 VDC. 3m connection with PVC cable 3 x 0.34 mm ². 2 LEDs on the sensor for supply and
contact.

The power supply occurs via a 3.6 V lithium battery integrated in the UP-GF polyester
housing.
Display unit 3

24 V with current output 4…20 mA.
Pulse output (only displays 2+3):
The display units 2 and 3 contain two cable bushings for one external sensor and/or pulse
output. The terminal compartment has up to two reed sensors that can be connected via
plug-in connectors. The electronics can be combined with any meter that uses reed sensors.
