The servicing interval reflects normal use.
The servicing interval is based on experience and is intended as a recommendation. It increases the fail-safety of
the system. The recommended maintenance cycle does not provide information about the durability of the compo-
nents.
Depending on the operating and ambient conditions, the interval must be shortened accordingly.

It is mandatory to use lithium batter-
ies type CR1025 from the manufac-
turer "renata batteries".

8.2 Replace desiccant
NOTE
Condensation inside the electronics
If cold medium flows through the process line, humidity can condense when the process line is opened and dam-
age the electronics.

Only open the photometer when the medium temperature is ≥ room temperature.
If the desiccant needs to be replaced frequently, have the tightness checked by a service technician.

Explosion hazard!
Disconnect the service
voltage and disconnect all conductors.
u Loosen Allen screw (5) .
u Remove the protective sleeve (4) from the
clamp ring (3) .
u Loosen and remove the clamp ring (3) .
u Remove basic unit (1) from the sensor head.
u
Replace seal (6) .
u
Replace desiccant (7) .
u Reassemble the device immediately in re-
verse order.
u Note the alignment of the groove with
pin
(2) .
