Standard specifications

Qualified Personnel

For the purpose of this instruction manual and these product labels, a 

"

qualified person

"

 is one who is familiar with the 

installation, construction and operation of the equipment and the hazards involved and who, in addition, has the following 

qualifications:

a) Is trained and authorized to energize, de-energize, clear, ground and tag circuits and equipment in accordance with 

established safety practices.

b) Is trained in the proper care and use of protective equipment in accordance with established safety practices.

c) Is trained in rendering first aid. 

The circuit breakers are suited for operation in enclosed spaces not subject to operating conditions aggravated by dust, corrosive vapors or 
gases. Circuit breakers to be installed in dusty or damp locations must be appropriately enclosed.

The circuit breaker frame and the trip units are in conformity with the standards:

- UL 489
- NAVAL use according UL 489 Suppl. SB
- CSA C22.2 No. 5-02

The cradles are in conformity with the standards:

- UL 489
- CSA C22.2 No. 5-02

The accessories are in conformity with the standards:

- UL 489
- CSA C22.2 No. 5-02

The molded case switches are in conformity with the standards:
