Automatic Windows updates are activated in the factory. The "Windows Update Server" is the
default source for Windows updates.
Before carrying out an update, create recovery points for both "C:" and "D:" partitions. Carry out
pending Windows updates. You can connect the IPC to the company's own Windows update
server.

Promptly implement the product-relevant Security Advisories of the components or the
connectivity module.

9.7 Replacing connectivity module components
A defective connectivity module can be replaced. When replacing components, carefully
observe the appropriate Operating Instructions (Page 16).
Delete all the data from the defective components. To do this, follow the instructions in Chapter
Deleting the data of the connectivity module (Page 58).
