5.1.2
Configuring the IP address of the CPU
Because the CPU does not have a pre-configured IP address, you must manually assign an
IP address. You configure the IP address and the other parameters for the PROFINET
interface when you configure the properties for the CPU. Enter the IP address for the CPU
and for the router (if applicable). Refer to the
S7-1200 System Manual for more information.
Select "Ethernet address"
to enter the Ethernet
address of the physical
CPU.
If your CPU is connected
to a router, enter the IP
address for the router.
