The Device view displays the CPU

that you added.

Create tags for the I/O of the CPU

Note
"Tags" are the symbolic names for I/O and addresses. After you create a tag, STEP 7 Basic

stores the tag in a tag table. All of the editors in your project (such as the program editor, the

device editor, the visualization editor, and the watch table editor) can access the tag table.

With the device editor open, you can open a tag table.
You can see the open editors displayed in the editor bar.

In the tool bar, click the "Split editor space horizontally" button.
