2.7.2 Connecting DC Power
1. Connect the positive wire from the power source to the live terminal on the
terminal block.

2. Connect the negative wire from the power source to the neutral terminal on the
terminal block.
IMPORTANT
If the ground terminals are not connected to safety Earth, the chassis ground
connection must be connected. For more information, refer to
3. Using a braided wire or other appropriate grounding wire, connect the ground
terminal to the chassis ground connection. The ground terminal is used as the
ground conductor for all surge and transient suppression circuitry internal to the
unit.
4. Connect the ground terminal on the power source to the ground terminal on the
device. For more information, refer to
"Grounding the Device (Page 14)"
2.7.2
Connecting DC Power
To connect DC power to the device, do the following:

The terminal block is installed using Philips screws and compression plates, allowing
either bare wire connections or crimped terminal lugs. Use #6 size ring lugs for
secure, reliable screws, which must be removed to make connections.
