Connecting expansion cards 

This section applies to devices with expansion cards.  
The expansion card interface is protected by a cover. There are two holes in the cover for 

wiring. 

Requirement 

●

 

The device is switched off. 

Procedure  

In this example, the expansion card is a USB expansion card. 

 

1.  Unlock the hood by pushing the latches 

in the direction of the arrow; swivel the 

released hood in the direction of the ar-

row and remove it. You can now access 

the expansion card interfaces. 

 

2.  Connect the line to one of the slots 

shown. 
 
 

 

3.  Insert and lock the hood at the marked 

positions. Make sure that the latches 

engage to secure the hood in its position.
