SIMATIC Ident CB Gate

Operating Instructions, 08/2022, C79000-G8976-C671-01

Method of operation

The CB Gate is built around a conveyor system (e.g. conveyor belt). As soon as an object

passes the light barrier, the read operation starts. Read operations are performed as long as

the light barrier is interrupted. The read result is output via the connected Panel and possibly

to a higher-level system, depending on the settings.

Scope of delivery

The scope of delivery depends on the system variant ordered, but consists mainly of the
