Assigning a Local ID for the OPC Server Connection
1. In the Properties dialog, enter the Local ID for the S7 connection (such as
OPC_1).
2. Click OK to add the S7 connection to NetPro.
3. Click the Save and Compile icon to save and compile your changes into the
STEP 7 project.
After you have compiled the S7 connection for the OPC server into the STEP 7
project, you can close NetPro and return to SIMATIC Manager.
