Point
00–99
For Open Processor points, this is
a designated number derived as
shown in Section 5,
Applications
.
For physical points, this is a
number from the lists of points on
the following pages. Virtual points
may use any desired scheme.
NOTE:
If the Open Processor is to be used only to monitor and not to control Trane
equipment controllers, Siemens Building Technologies suggests that all points
listed as outputs (LAO and LDO) be defined instead as inputs (LAI and LDI).
All LDO points for the Open Processor are non-inverted.
All LAI points for the Open Processor should be defined as current (I) type.
The point address defines the location of the point in the field panel (whether on the M-Bus
or in an FLN device). Points on the M-Bus are addressed by:
x
Field panel - The name or number.
x
FLN - For points on the M-Bus, the FLN number is always 0.
x
Drop - The number of the address key on the Point Termination Module (PTM).
x
Point -The point number on the Point Termination Module (PTM).
NOTE:
Virtual points only require a field panel number, and cannot be defined on FLN
devices.
