Oil temperature monitoring
The gear unit can be fitted with a Pt 100 resistance thermometer for measuring the oil temperature in the
oil sump.
In order to measure the temperatures and/or temperature differences, the Pt 100 resistance thermometer,
which complies with the requirements of Directive 2014/34/EU, must be connected to a suitable analysis
instrument provided by the customer.
Note
In order to measure the temperatures and/or the temperature differences with a Pt 100 resistance
thermometer without evaluating instrument, the Pt 100 resistance thermometer must be connected to
an evaluation instrument provided by the customer.

Oil level monitoring system
The gear unit may be fitted with a filling level limit switch for oil level monitoring. The oil level monitoring
device is designed for checking the oil level when the gear unit is at a standstill prior to start-up.
When using oil level monitoring, the oil level in the gear unit must be horizontal, regardless of the mounting
position.
