Operating principles
The HiNet LP5100 offers all functions on the display in dialog
menus which are independent of status. With the four dialog keys
you can scroll through the individual functions, select the function
you require and activate it. At the same time, you can individually
assign function keys with convenience functions, such as selected
dialing, etc. or shortcuts for various functions.
Line allocation from the idle state is done by sending the block se-
lection after selecting the numbers to be dialed.
Standard telephone functions
Standard telephone functions are carried out in the normal way.
This means that the number is dialed by means of the keypad.
The dialing process allows the optional selection of a normal tele-
phone number (E.164 call number) or an internet protocol address
(IP address).
Dialing aids and convenience functions are initiated by means of
function keys which can be individually allocated.
Some examples for dialing aids and convenience functions:
– Repeat dialing
– Selected dialing
– Abbreviated dialing
– Handsfree operation
– Mute
The rest of the operation is carried out by means of dialog menus.
