Dealing with a waiting external
call – CW (Call Waiting)

Precondition:

Call waiting has been set

up (page 63).
You will hear the call waiting tone (short

beep) if you receive an external call during

another call. The caller's number or name

will appear in the display if Calling Line

Identification is enabled.
You have the following options:

Accepting the waiting call – consultation

call

§Accept§

Press the display key. You

answer the waiting call and

the first call is put on hold.

Both participants are shown

on the display; the current one

is marked.

You can toggle (page 23), create a confer-

ence call (page 24) or transfer the call

(page 24).

Rejecting a waiting call

§Reject§

Press the display key.

You reject the call. The call is no longer sig-

nalled. The caller will hear the busy tone.

Changing participants

End the current call. The wait-

ing call becomes the 'normal'

call.

Press the talk key to accept the

call.

Please note:

If the answer machine is activated, this will

accept the waiting call if you do not answer.
