Set IP Address 

 

Enter a fixed IP address, Subnet-Mask and Default-Gateway  
for operation of the Serial Modems in a network. 
If the allocated IP-address and the Subnet-Mask are not compatible 
the properties can not be changed any more. In such an event 
please change the settings. 

Set Device Name 

 

Enter the name of the Serial Modem for a more transparent 
overview in the table. 

Change Password 

 

Before a password can be assigned or altered, the old password 
has to be entered. Then enter the desired new password twice.  

No password has been set on delivery, which means that the space 
“Password” remains unfilled with the first change. 

If the password protection is to be be deactivated, the old password 
is entered and the empty spaces of the „New Password“ are 
confirmed with “Return“.
