Teach-in key-operated switch for C 4000
You must use an N/O contact for the teach-in key-operated switch and connect it to a test
output.
You can also connect the teach-in key-operated switch to the C 4000. More detailed
information is contained in the operating instructions of the C 4000 Standard/Advanced.
6.2.10
Operating mode selector switch
You can connect an operating mode switch for up to five operating modes to the safety
controller. Using the operating mode selector switch, you can switch between the
operating modes of the safety controller and also switch the operating modes of the
connected protective device (e.g. the hidden areas with a safety light curtain C 4000).
The operating mode selector switch must be a key-operated switch.
Use an operating mode selector switch that has only the same number of switch settings
that you actually need. This will help you to reduce the likelihood of operating errors.
The operating mode selector switch is to be connected to 24 V (
) without configured
testing and to O1.0 (
) with configured testing.
