4.5.1
Teach-in key-operated switch for C 4000
You can configure an input for a teach-in key-operated switch of the C 4000
Standard/Advanced. Using the teach-in key-operated switch, teach-in of the connected C
4000 is initiated via EFI. Only actuation of the reset button connected to the C 4000
causes the new configuration to be received in the C 4000.

The teach-in key-operated switch connected to the UE 440/470 affects all C 4000s
connected via EFI.

You must use an N/O contact for the teach-in key-operated switch; the input is active
HIGH.
You configure whether an input delay is necessary for a teach-in key-operated switch (see
Page 52).
