How the NAV245 deals with source of error
Covered reflectors
When cornering or in narrow aisles, two reflectors positioned behind one another from the
point of view of the NAV245 always fully or partially cover one another. It is then no longer
possible to determine the positions of these reflectors clearly. The NAV245 detects this type
of situation and automatically suppresses the use of the reflectors covering one another
depending on the configured detection strategy.
A covered reflector appears when the angle between two reflectors from the point of view of
the NAV245 is smaller than the current beam diameter at this position. In this case,
the reflector arrangement must be chosen in such a way that at least three additional
reflectors are in the field of view of the NAV245.
