Electrical installation
Wiring switching input TRIGGER_1 of the logic unit
1.
Connect read cycle sensor (photoelectric sensor) to switching input TRIGGER_1,
as shown in the figure above.
2.
For the voltage supply via the MSC800 (terminal 7), also establish the SGND_5
connection with GND. In order to do this, set DIP switch “SGND _5 – GND” to “ON”.
Wiring switching input INC_1 of the logic unit
1.
Connect incremental encoder to switching input INC_1: switching output to INC_1
(terminal 1), GND to SGND_4 (terminal 8).

For the voltage supply via the MSC800 (terminal 7), also establish the SGND_4
connection with GND. In order to do this, switch DIP switch “SGND _4 – GND” to “ON”.
5.4.12
OUT switching outputs of the logic unit
The connection of a suitable visualization device or PLC for the display of the system
status is carried out via the digital switching outputs OUT 1 to OUT.
The following figure shows an example of the wiring of switching output OUT_1.
