Maintenance
6.1
Cleaning
▸
Disconnect the voltage supply of the protection hood and secure it against being
switched on again.
▸
Manually loosen knurled screws.
▸
Remove protection hood.
▸
Carefully remove dirt with oil-free compressed air.
Do not clean the safety laser scanner with compressed air.
▸
Depending on the degree of contamination, clean the guide shafts regularly with a lint-
free cloth.
6.2
Actuator exchange
Spanner SW19 and SW17.
Allen wrench SW3 (M4)
Allen wrench SW5 (M6)
▸
Disconnect the protection hood from the voltage.
▸
Remove hood.
▸
Disconnect and remove the safety laser scanner connections.
▸
Disconnect M12 male connector.
▸
If access is difficult, disassemble the unit from the support unit.
Note
Only qualified persons with the relevant technical expertise are permitted to work on the
system.
WARNING
Hazard due to hand injuries caused by crushing
▸
Disconnect the voltage supply when working on the protection hood.
▸
Wear appropriate safety gloves.
WARNING
Hazard due to hand injuries if function is activated.
▸
When working on the protection hood, disconnect the voltage supply and
secure it against being switched on again.
▸
Disconnect M12 4-pin A-coded male connector.
