SETTINGS
3. [BOX ID]
[Box ID]
is the identification # in each SB-3403 for individual RS-232 or
IR remote control.
•
The SB-3403 ID # are from 1-99.
•
After settting the Box ID, the user can control the SB-3403 individually
via the IR remote control, RS-232 & Ethernet.
•
IR control ID # is from 0-9 only.
4. [PROFILE] SETTING
• [Profile]
is to save and load the user settings.
•
If the settings saved in
[Profile]
are conflicting with the Dip Switch
settings, the Dip Switch setting will be executed. If the user wants to
show the
[Profile]
settings when turning on the system, please set the
[Main Input]
to the off (down) position.
(5) Indexes can be chosen to save the SB-3403 settings and recalled with
the IR remote control or RS-232 through the
[Load]
menu under
[Profile]
.
Application Example:
When cascading with (2) SB-3403’s, users can set below display patterns:
1. To show the cascaded images with a single content across whole video wall.
2. To show (2) side by side contents across whole video wall.
3. To show (1) PiP content as a cascaded image.
4. To show (2) PiP contents as a cascaded image.
Users can save these different display patterns on the SB-3403 and recall them with the RS-232 or remote control.
PLEASE NOTE:
• When executing the system reset, the Profile settings will remain the same without change.
•
If the settings on the Dip Switches on the front panel are different from the settings in the
[Profile]
, the Dip Switch settings
will have the 1st priority.
For Example:
If your Dip Switch is selecting Display mode # 02 and you select mode #05 via the OSD. Once you power
OFF/ON the system again, it will show mode #02 but not mode #05. The same issue will happen in the PiP/PoP settings, if
you select a position and size for the PiP image with the OSD menu, once you power OFF/ON the system, it will follow the
setting on the Dip Switch but not the OSD. You need to load the profile to get new the OSD settings.
