3 Various Measuring Methods

LF(R) Series Operation Manual

3-8-2 Operation method

Go to the function setting mode.

(Refer to Section 2-6 “Basics of Function
Settings.”)

Press and hold the [Function] key until “Func” is

displayed.

Set the weighing mode to the statistical operation

mode.

Press the [Function] key several times to select “1.SEt.”

Press the [Zero/Tare] key to select “7.”

Save the statistical operation mode.

Press the [Set] key.

The statistical operation mode is set and “st” is

displayed.

Collect data.

Put a sample in place and press the [Print] key.

Data is collected and then output.

Collect more data.

Unload the previous sample, check that the display

indicates “0,” and place the next sample. Collect data in

the same way as in step 4.

Repeat placing a sample, collecting data, and
removing the sample until the required number of
data items are collected.

Display the statistical operation result.

Press the [Function] key.

The display changes to the statistical operation
display.

Switch to another calculation item.

Press the [Set] key when the statistical operation display

is active.

Pressing the [Set] key toggles the calculation
item cyclically in the order shown in the table in
Section 3-8-1 “Calculation items.”

Return to the weight display.

Press the [Function] key when the statistical operation

display is active.

The balance returns to the weight display.
