3 Various Measuring Methods

LF(R) Series Operation Manual

3-6-2 Weighing with the addition function

Put the first sample in place.

After an asterisk “*” is displayed, press the [Set] key.

The measured value is saved and a sigma “

∑

”

sign is displayed for several seconds.
(The tare range is set automatically when net

addition is selected.)

Cumulate Put another sample in place.

Unload the previous sample, check that the
display indicates “0,” and place the next sample.

After an asterisk “*” is displayed, press the [Set] key.

The sigma “

∑

” sign and the cumulative weight are

displayed for several seconds.
Repeat this operation to add measurements.

After adding a measurement, press the [Zero/Tare] key to

set the tare range. By doing so, you can add another

sample without removing the previous sample to add the

next measurement.

Net addition Place an additional sample.

Add another sample. (The tare range is set

automatically.)

After an asterisk “*” is displayed, press the [Set] key.

The sigma “

∑

” sign and the cumulative weight are

displayed for several seconds. Then the balance
returns to the weight display and the tare range is
set automatically.
Repeat this operation to add measurements.

Display the cumulative weight.

Press the [Function] key twice.
