<Note>
The oil level cannot be accurately checked if the
generator is inclined.
Operating the generator when the oil level exceeds the
maximum level (H) can damage the engine.
Selecting the Engine Oil
Use oil for diesel engines with a proper viscosity that
corresponds to the outside temperature (refer to the table).
<Note>
Use oil with a quality of API Service Category CC or
better.
6-2. Cooling Water Inspection
Check that cooling water level in the sub tank is between the "FULL" and "LOW" lines. Add
water to the sub tank and radiator when the cooling water level of the sub tank is below the
"LOW" line.
(1) Adding water to the sub tank
Remove the sub tank cap.
Add cooling water until it reaches the "FULL" line of the
sub tank.
Attach the cap.
(2) Adding water to the radiator
Remove the check plate.
Remove the radiator cap.
Add cooling water until it reaches the rim of the water
inlet.
Screw on the radiator cap.
Install the check plate.

Check Plate
Do not touch the engine or surrounding parts while the generator is
operating or immediately after the engine has stopped because they
are still extremely hot.
Do not open the radiator cap while operating the generator or
immediately after stopping the engine. Doing so will result in hot
steam gushing out.
CAUTION: BURNS
Do not open any doors during operation. An open door could result in
being pinched or caught in moving parts such as the cooling fan and
belt.
WARNING: INJURY
