CAUTION: BURNS
Do not touch the engine or surrounding parts while the generator is operating or
immediately after the engine has stopped because they are still extremely hot.
Do not open the radiator cap while operating the generator or immediately after
stopping the engine. Doing so will result in hot steam gushing out.
Be sure to always stop the engine and allow the engine to cool before checking or
replacing the engine oil. Opening the oil gauge or oil plug during operation will result in
hot oil gushing out.
CAUTION: INJURY
Be sure to always use lifting lugs to lift up the generator. Lifting it by the handles could
result in it slipping from the handles and the generator falling.
Lift the generator slowly and straight up.
Do not allow any persons to enter the area under a lifted generator.
Personnel performing lifting work must wear protective gear such as helmets, safety
shoes and gloves.
Securely fix the generator with rope or similar equipment so that it cannot move when
transporting by truck or other vehicle.
Position the generator on a stable level surface and be sure to apply the wheel lock to
the wheel so that the generator does not move.
Before using this generator, check that the frequency of device using the generator is
the same as that displayed by the frequency monitor lamps of this generator. If the
frequency is different, change it by using the Frequency Selector inside this
generator.
Before starting the engine, be sure to always turn off the switch(es) of device using the
generator and remove the power plug(s) from the output outlet(s) of this generator.
Before inserting the power plug(s) into the output outlet(s) after starting the engine,
check that the switch(es) of device using the generator are turned off.
Do not move the generator during operation.
CAUTION: PROPERTY DAMAGE
Some computers, devices having a microcomputer, and precision equipment are
voltage sensitive. Please consult with the authorized distributor where this generator
was purchased or one of our sales offices if using this generator to power such
devices or equipment.
If using this generator for medical equipment or similar applications that could affect
human life, check with the manufacturer of the medical equipment or hospital before
use.
An error in operating this generator or other equipment can result in an accident. Be
sure to thoroughly read and understand the instruction manuals for this generator and
other equipment before use.
Locations of Warning/Caution labels
Replace warning and caution labels with new ones if they become damaged and difficult to
read. Order labels by using the part number indicated in parenthesis below.
