ASCOM is a standard interface so that several software can communicate in a standard way with

Install ASCOM latest platform, ASCOM dome driver & tools and Dome Tracker ASCOM driver from
Shelyak Instruments CD-ROM.
16) Dome Tracker FIRMWARE update
Dome Tracker internal firmware can be updated through the serial interface. We provide a
specific software called 'Uploader_Pic.exe'. Make sure before doing this that the Dome
Tracker is powered through a stable power supply. Check out our website for latest
firmware code named 'dome_ddmmyyyy.hex' – bien récupérer la dernière version à jour
(dd = day, mm = month, yyyy = year).
Conect your dome Tracker to your PC with the serial cable. Run the Uploader_Pic.exe
software, select the right serial COM port.
Press 'GO' and select the .HEX file to use. If you get a 'Boot loader not ready ?!' error
message, check your COM port number and click on « GO with previous file » this time...
