Checking your TV's current settings
(DISPLAY)
The information displayed will vary depending on
the current display mode and other settings.

1. Press the DISPLAY button.
[TV mode]
Display mode, TV channel number, MTS mode,
antenna type, CC setting, and V-Chip rating
information will be displayed.
[AV mode]
Display mode, AV input terminal type, input
signal resolution, CC setting, and V-Chip rating
information will be displayed.
[PC mode]
Display mode, screen resolution, and horizontal/
vertical frequency will be displayed.

The information will disappear after several
seconds.
Note:
- If the TV broadcast changes while the
information is displaying, the broadcast and
MTS mode may not match.
Switching power off after a specified
length of time (SLEEP)
The TV can automatically switch off (standby) after
a specified length of time. This is helpful if you
want to use the TV at bedtime.

1. Press the SLEEP button.
2. Specify in how many minutes you want the TV to
switch off by pressing the SLEEP button.
The time changes in the following order each
time you press the button:
Off
→
30 min
→
60 min
→
90 min
→
120 min
→
150 min
→
Off
When the specified time elapses, the TV
automatically switches off and clears the SLEEP
timer.
Checking the time remaining on the SLEEP timer
1. Press the SLEEP button.
The time remaining on the SLEEP timer will be
displayed for several seconds.
Changing the specified time
1. Press the SLEEP button.
The remaining time will be displayed.
2. Change the specified time by pressing the
SLEEP button several times as needed.
Notes:
- When there are only 5 minutes remaining on the
SLEEP timer, the remaining time will be
displayed every minute.
- Pressing the POWER button while the SLEEP
timer is operating will clear the timer.
- In PC mode, switching to the power-saving
mode (with the POWER LED in orange)
automatically clears the SLEEP timer.
