MAINTENANCE
1 CLEANING THE PRE-FILTER
»
Use a vacuum to clean off the pre-filter. When especially dirty, wash the pre-filter with water.
When washing with water, use cold or lukewarm water (40ºC or less) and a soft brush.
Metal brushes or scrub brushes may cause damage.
* After washing with water, leave the pre-filter in the shade until it is completely dry.
2 CLEANING ODOUR SENSOR
Place the vacuum cleaner nozzle against the odour sensor holes to suck out
the dust.
Caution: Be careful not to damage the air purifier with the nozzle dur-
ing cleaning.
3 CLEANING THE FAN AND INSIDE THE AIR PURIFIER

Remove the 6 screws (4 x 10 mm truss head screws) holding the
intake guard and cluster maintenance cover.
CLEANING THE FAN

Refer to P. 24 of the Service Manual "4. How to remove the fan," and
remove the fan.
Wash the fan with water.
Use a towel to dry the washed fan or set it in a shady area with good
ventilation to let it dry.
CLEANING INSIDE THE AIR PURIFIER
»
Use a well wrung out damp towel to clean inside the air purifier.
Do not wipe the surfaces of the plasmacluster unit electrodes with a
towel, etc.
