Setting up the Dial-up Modem (Mac OS® X 10.5 or Later)

1. Connect your Sharp FX PLUS to your Mac® with the USB cable.
2. Your computer will auto-detect the Sharp FX PLUS and prompt you to set up a new modem connection.

3. Click

Network Preferences...

If your computer does not auto-detect the Sharp FX PLUS, open the

Applications

folder >

System Preferences

Network

4. Select

Sharp USB Modem

> Type

*98#

*99#

in the Telephone Number field depending on your local network settings.

5. Click

Advanced

> Change the Model setting to

GPRS (GSM/3G)

> Enter

isp.cingular

in the APN field > Click

to return

to the Network setup window.

6. Click

Connect

Apply
